In 2004, I joined the Federal Public Administration through a public examination for the position of Dentist at the Federal Police Department, taking up an effective position as Specialist in Health Regulation and Surveillance at Anvisa in 2007. For more than 10 years in the General Management of Health Products Technology, responsible for different positions as specialist in health regulation and surveillance, deputy manager and, between 2014 and 2015, head of the Materials Technology Management for use in Health.

In 2015, after Anvisa's public selection process, I assumed the position of general manager of the General Management of Health Products Technology at Anvisa, with the challenge of promoting a structuring action that helps consolidate the Agency as a modern, effective and efficient institution. excellence, regarding the sanitary control of medical devices. Since 2015, GGTPS has undergone major transformations, being recognized by the most recent report by Amcham Brasil as ANVISA's area of ​​greatest evolution. The area, in 2019, was also awarded first place with the Anvisa Performance Award, an award alluding to the celebrations of Anvisa's 20th anniversary.

In 2015, I was appointed as the Brazilian representative on the Management Committee of the International Medical Devices Regulators Forum, the main global forum for medical device regulators. In 2016, I was nominated by the World Health Organization to be part of its panel of experts, nomination renewed in 2020, for a period of another 4 years.
